Contracting Opportunities in Westchester County

The Mount Vernon Industrial Development Agency will host an exclusive to NYS registered construction trades (i.e. electricians, plumbers, general contractors, etc.) “Build Your Future: Connect for Contract Opportunities” information session located in Westchester County municipalities unlock new opportunities to participate in upcoming residential and commercial development projects in Mount Vernon.
Licensed construction trade firms will learn to:
- Register with the City of Mount Vernon for participation in upcoming development projects;
- How to become a certified vendor with Con Edison;
- Navigate the process of obtaining Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise (“MWBE”) certification;
- Mentorship opportunities as a small business with the MTA
