Event Overview
WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV, in partnership with Women Impacting Public Policy (WIPP), is proud to host the Virtual Mega Matchmaker on May 13-14, 2025. This dynamic virtual event is dedicated to connecting WBENC-certified Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) with corporations, public sector organizations, and fellow WBEs. It’s a unique opportunity to build meaningful business relationships, foster collaboration, and unlock new opportunities for growth.

Registration and Preparation
WBE Suppliers
- Registration Confirmation: Suppliers will receive an invitation to participate in the matchmaker with a unique link to register. Once registered, suppliers will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to complete their profile and prepare for the event.
- Profile Completion: Suppliers should log in to their profile, add relevant NAICS codes, and complete all missing information to ensure accurate matchmaking.
- Meeting Scheduling: Suppliers can schedule 1:1 meetings with other WBEs and will receive notifications for meeting invitations from buyers. Suppliers cannot request meetings with buyers, only other WBE suppliers.
Buyers
- Registration Confirmation: Buyers will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to complete their profile and prepare for the event.
- Profile Completion: Buyers should log in to their profile, add/edit products and services they are looking for, and complete all missing information.
- Meeting Scheduling: Buyers can request meetings with suppliers, and suppliers must accept these invitations for the meetings to be confirmed.
Training Sessions
To ensure participants are well-prepared, training sessions will be held for both buyers and suppliers. These sessions will cover expectations, technical recommendations, and how to navigate the matchmaking platform.
