In today’s digital world, cybersecurity is crucial for diverse-owned businesses. Implementing strong cybersecurity measures is essential for protecting sensitive information, maintaining client trust, and ensuring business continuity.
The Cybersecurity Intensive is designed to support women-owned medium and large businesses by providing essential knowledge and tools to combat cyber threats. It aims to raise awareness of cybersecurity risks, promote good practices, and offer actionable strategies to protect business assets in an increasingly digital world.
Workshop 4 – Preparing for an Assessment
This workshop is designed to provide WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV WBEs with an overview of the path forward for good cyber hygiene and the means for staying informed as good cyber hygiene progresses. This will enable participants to make informed decisions regarding technology investments and procurement opportunities
During this workshop participants will:
1. Gain an understanding of a cybersecurity assessments.
2. Learn the pros and cons of different types of cybersecurity assessments
3. Learn how to prepare for a cybersecurity assessment
4. Learn how to leverage a cybersecurity assessment

She has written articles and publications that provide valuable leadership guidance. Angela holds a MS in Management Information Systems from Bowie State University, a BS in Computer Science from DeVry University, a Certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Practitioner, and a Certified Management Consultant (CMC).
