Modern Stone Age Kitchen is proudly women-owned and led by Christina Schindler, CEO and co-founder. After two decades in education, Christina transitioned her expertise in leadership, systems, and community building into creating a business dedicated to real, nourishing food. Today, she oversees all operations, HR, finance, marketing, and strategic growth for both the Modern Stone Age Kitchen and its sister nonprofit, the Modern Stone Age Food Lab.

Under her leadership, the business has grown into a thriving sourdough bakery, scratch-made restaurant, and educational hub rooted in ancestral food practices. Christina manages a team of more than 30 employees, coordinates partnerships with local farmers and producers, runs multiple grant-funded projects, develops internships and youth apprenticeships, and cultivates a workplace built on positivity, learning, and purpose.
