Kevin Kenny
Kevin S. Kenny is director of the Shared Services Center of Excellence.
He is responsible for overseeing Supply Chain sustainability, supplier diversity, small business compliance, data analytics and automation, systems innovation and support, and compliance & risk programs.
Kenny joined the company as an analyst in Information Technology (IT) supporting the implementation of sales and provisioning software. He then transitioned through various roles in the IT, Finance, and Accounts Payable organizations. In 2013 he joined the Supply Chain organization to lead supplier diversity, small business compliance, and data analytics efforts. He followed with progressive leadership roles in materials management for our electric transmission & distribution organization followed by procurement for Corporate & IT. In 2018, he led the formation of our now Shared Services Center of Excellence.
Prior to Dominion Energy, Kenny held roles in the technology, education, and military sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Finance and a Master of Education from The George Washington University, as well as an MBA from the Darden School at the University of Virginia. He is a member of the board of the Metropolitan Business League, which empowers businesses and professionals. Passionate about employee and supplier engagement, he is involved in several of Dominion Energy’s Employee Resource Groups and led the launch of two signature annual events, Convergence (supplier diversity) and Momentum (sustainability). His team has received multiple awards recognizing innovative engagement and community support.
