As a primary patent examiner and Program Manager of Access USPTO\, she is dedicated to enhancing IP knowledge among diverse communities. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from an expert committed to empowering your innovative journey. \n \nDr. Sahar Javanmard \nSahar Javanmard holds a B.S. in Chemistry\, specialization in Biochemistry\, and PhD degrees from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Her doctoral work focused on developing treatment agents for cocaine abuse. She was a NIH Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Cancer Institute (NCI)\, designing and synthesizing chemotherapy adjuvants. Sahar joined the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in 2007. She is a primary patent examiner in Tech Center 1600\, specializing in the examination of novel methods of treatment\, pharmaceutical formulations\, and compounds. In July 2023\, Sahar began a detail as the Program Manager of AccessUSPTO\, where the program focuses to increase the understanding of intellectual property (IP) rights in America by collaborating with national organizations that represent underserved orhard-to-reach stakeholders.
