\n\t\tJon Suber serves as MassMutual Supplier Diversity Lead. He is responsible for collaborating with Business Stakeholders, Category Managers, and collaborating organizations to meet MassMutual’s stated goal $150M spent with diverse owned business. Since joining MassMutual Jon has established MassMutual’s second tier diverse spend program and increase supplier diversity spend by over 20%. He is looked upon as a subject matter expert and is regularly called upon to present to MassMutual leadership on the importance and how to operationalize Supplier Diversity.<\/p>\n
Prior to MassMutual, Jon has served as Supplier Diversity and Development Manager at Freddie Mac with responsibility for connecting and developing diverse suppliers within Freddie Mac’s Supply Chain. He has been commended for his strategic leadership and relationship building and for integrating Supplier Diversity best practices across the organization, including establishing the widely recognized Supplier Academy, a diverse supplier development program. He has worked within the Supply Chain field across several industries including Consumer Product Goods, Food Security, and the Financial Services.<\/p>\n
Jon as also been recognized for his successful appearances on podcasts, panels, and webinars in the Supplier Diversity Space. He has been awarded the 2021 Women’s Business Advocate of the Year by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council Greater DMV.<\/p>\n
Jon lives in Laurel, Maryland with his wife and teammate of 12 years, Miesha, Five year old son son, Mason, and their 9-year-old “puppy”, Maggie. Jon is the son of a Radio Personality and lived in four different cities before the age of 13. Wherever his mother was on the radio is where they would move. Jon and his wife love to travel and have yet to meet a beach that they don’t enjoy. Their favorite place in the world is Martha’s Vineyard where he has spent every summer of his life. They also love to entertain their friends and are known within their circle to throw the best get togethers.<\/p>\n
Jon is a life-long learner. He holds certificates in Executive Facilitation and Strategic Management from the Georgetown University Institute for Transformational Leadership, an MBA in Supply Chain Management from Howard University and a BA in Marketing from the University of Pittsburgh.<\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
