AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps people 50+ have independence, choice and control in ways that are beneficial and affordable to them and society as a whole.<\/p>\n<p>Robert leads the Procurement &amp; Contract Management functions and is responsible for AARP&#8217;s enterprise-wide procurement activities. This includes managing strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and the supplier management processes.<\/p>\n<p>Robert joined AARP in 2018 after working for National Geographic, Discovery Communications and CBS holding a variety of financial positions of increasing responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Robert has a B.S. degree in accounting and business management from the University of Maryland and is currently a member of the Women&#8217;s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) and the Capital Region Minority Supplier Development Council (CRMSDC).<\/p>\n<p>Robert has two daughters and lives in Odenton, Maryland with wife Patricia Khan.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Board Member | Vice President, Procurement and Contract Management, AARP Robert Khan Robert Khan is the Vice President of Procurement and Contract Management for AARP.
