The SAGE Advice Program: Strategies to Advance and Grow Enterprises<\/h1>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

Presented by WBEC Metro NY & Greater DMV in partnership with Capital One<\/em><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t

SAGE Advice is a dynamic, hands-on initiative designed to empower women-owned small businesses to grow and thrive. Developed through a strategic partnership between Capital One<\/strong> and WBEC Metro NY & Greater DMV<\/strong>, this program delivers customized learning experiences led by accomplished women entrepreneurs and Capital One associates.<\/p>\n

The SAGE Advice Program fosters meaningful, high-impact connections<\/strong> between experienced business leaders and women-owned businesses. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to help women-owned businesses generating under $1 million in annual revenue reach that critical $1 million milestone-a key threshold for long-term sustainability and growth.<\/p>\n

Through expert guidance, practical tools, and a supportive network, SAGE Advice equips participants with the strategies and confidence needed to scale successfully.<\/p>\n\t\t\t

Participant Commitments<\/h4>\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t

If accepted into the program, participants must:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Attend and actively engage in all in-person sessions<\/li>\n
  • Submit a one-time program fee of $150<\/strong><\/li>\n
  • Participate in monthly one-on-one meetings with a Capital One Business Resource Partner (BRP)<\/li>\n
  • Complete occasional assignments between sessions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Note<\/strong>: Participation in SAGE Advice does not<\/strong> guarantee business or contracting opportunities with Capital One. The program is focused on education, development, and growth.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    \n\t\t\tAm I Right for SAGE Advice?\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

    The SAGE Advice program is intended for Certified WBEs throughout the WBEC Metro NY and Greater DMV RPOs, who are seeking guidance, support, and community from a network of likeminded WBEs and business experts from diverse backgrounds.<\/p>\n

    Participants must have completed at least three years in business and have a 3-year average revenue of between $300K-$1.0M.<\/p>\n

    Important Note:<\/strong><\/em> If your business falls slightly below or above these revenue guidelines, please still apply. This program can provide valuable support regardless of your current stage.<\/p>\n

    \n\t\t\tProgram Structure\t<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t

    SAGE Advice runs in 4-month cohorts throughout the year:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • DMV Cohort:<\/strong> February -May 2027<\/li>\n
    • NY Cohort:<\/strong> September-December 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Each cohort meets in person<\/strong> at Capital One offices approximately once a month for four two-day sessions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t
